Product Description

Discovered by Galileo Galilei (1564-1642) in Italy as a facinating method of temperature measurement. In liquid, a solid body is compelled to go down as the temperature rises. On the other hand the solid body goes up in the liquid as the temperature falls. Due to the exact difference in weight between the balls and to the density of the liquid the lowest of the floating balls in the upper part of the cylinder indicates the right temperature.

Each ball is calibrated to exactly 0.5 deg C. Two glass balls differ in weight by only 6/100 grams.

The best materials are used: high quality Duran glass, a non-poisonous and environmently friendly liquid in the cylinder, and the bright and colorful filling of our balls is unique.

Wouldn't this make a unique addition to your office decor or a special place in your home. A true conversation piece.
